No warranty on results
Compress Image is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to make sure every tool — compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, rotation and merging — produces an accurate, high-quality result, but image processing involves trade-offs between file size and visual quality that cannot be perfect for every single photo, device or use case. We do not guarantee that:
- A compressed image will always meet a specific KB or MB target exactly, in every possible case.
- Visual quality will be identical to the original file after significant compression.
- Every tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every browser, device or file format.
- Output files will always be accepted by every third-party form, portal or platform you upload them to.
If a tool doesn't behave the way you expect, please contact us so we can look into it — but you use every tool on this site at your own discretion and risk.
Your files & backups
We strongly recommend keeping a backup of the original, unedited version of any photo you upload to Compress Image. While our tools are built to process images reliably, we cannot accept responsibility for lost, corrupted or unsatisfactory files resulting from an upload, a browser crash, a network interruption, or any other technical issue outside our control. As explained in our Privacy Policy, uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers after processing — so once a file is removed, we are not able to recover or re-send it to you.
